- Age limit: 18 to 40 years as on 01.01.2026. Upper age relaxation is up to 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates, and 3 years for PWD candidates.
- Salary: Pay Level-6 in pay matrix, At present Rs. 22,700/- -58,500/-
- Essential Qualification: Passed Higher Secondary or its equivalent (10+2) and Diploma in Computer Application.

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for the West Bengal Municipal Service Commission Computer Assistant post through the WBMSC Portal www.mscwb.org from 16.03.2026.
The last date for submission of the application is 17.04.2026.
Documents regarding prescribed Qualifications, Age, Caste, PWD certificate, etc. must be scanned and uploaded along with the online application. Bonified Certificates issued by competent authorities must be obtained within the closing date of the advertisement.
Application Fee
- UR & OBC candidates are Rs. 150. 00 (Rupees One hundred and fifty) plus Processing Charges Rs. 50.00 (Rupees Fifty), i.e., Rs. 200.00 (Rupees Two hundred) only.
- For SC, ST. & PWD candidates only Processing Charges Rs. 50.00 (Rupees Fifty) to be paid.
- No exemption of fee is available to SC/ST candidates of other states.
