RRB Group-D Selection Procedure
The recruitment process shall comprise the following stages:
- Computer-Based Tests (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Document Verification (DV) and
- Medical Examination (ME)
The Computer-Based Test (CBT) question pattern
- General Science: 25 Marks
- Mathematics: 25 Marks
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30 Marks
- General Awareness and Current Affairs: 20 Marks
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Male candidates: Should be able to lift and carry 35 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; and should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
Female candidates: Should be able to lift and carry 20 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; and should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
