Kolkata Municipal Corporation Recruitment 2026- The Health Department of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation invites eligible candidates to attend the walk-in interview for the selection of the below-mentioned KMC Medical Vacancies for Polyclinics under the XV Finance Commission Health Grant, purely on a contractual basis. 1. Post Name: Specialist (G&O)
- No of posts: 14
- Age limit: Upto 67 years as on 01.01.2026.
- Salary: Rs. 3,000/- per day (3 hours per day thrice a week)
- Essential Qualification: MBBS with a Postgraduate Diploma/Degree in Gynecology & Obstetrics from an MCI-recognized Institute/DNB. Must have completed a compulsory 1 year Internship and has West Bengal Medical Council Registration.
2. Post Name: Specialist (Medicine)
- No of posts: 16
- Age limit: Upto 67 years as on 01.01.2026.
- Salary: Rs. 3,000/- per day (3 hours per day thrice a week)
- Essential Qualification: MBBS with a Postgraduate Diploma/Degree in General Medicine from an MCI-recognized Institute/DNB. Must have completed a compulsory 1 year Internship and has West Bengal Medical Council Registration.
3. Post Name: Specialist (Pediatrics)
- No of posts: 16
- Age limit: Upto 67 years as on 01.01.2026.
- Salary: Rs. 3,000/- per day (3 hours per day thrice a week)
- Essential Qualification: MBBS with a Postgraduate Diploma/Degree in Pediatrics Medicine from an MCI-recognized Institute/DNB. Must have completed a compulsory 1 year Internship and has West Bengal Medical Council Registration.
4. Post Name: Specialist (Ophthalmologist)

- Age limit: Upto 67 years as on 01.01.2026.
- Salary: Rs. 3,000/- per day (3 hours per day twice a week)
- Essential Qualification: MBBS with a Postgraduate Diploma/Degree in Ophthalmology from an MCI-recognized Institute/DNB. Must have completed a compulsory 1 year Internship and has West Bengal Medical Council Registration.
